Fun Facts About the University Library

It is important to know the basics about your library and the range of services and resources we provide, but that doesn't mean that there aren't also a lot of fun facts waiting to be shared. This list, drawn from suggestions from SDSU students, faculty, and staff, is not comprehensive and will change as people share ideas with us.

SDSU Library Comics Collection

Comic Books

The SDSU Library holds one of the largest collections of comic books in an academic library, supporting teaching and scholarship in courses offered in the College of Arts and Letters, the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts, and the College of Education. We also have many comics readers who are just here because they like comics.

SDSU Library materials about witches, vampires, and more

Witches, Vampires, and More

The SDSU holds a world-class collection of materials about vampires (including, yes, vampire comics), as well as materials about witchcraft and a variety of alternative religious movements. Our research guide to Witchcraft Studies is always one of our most popular, often averaging almost 20,000 views each year.
