Need to do research from home? The Library can help!

eBooks

  • Click the "books" tab on the library's homepage, and you'll see an "eBooks only" check box.
  • Once you find a title you like, click "online access" or "full text available."
  • Authenticate with your SDSUid and password.
  • Many of our ebooks have unlimited user access, so that multiple people can look at the same ebook.
  • Another option is looking at our ebook collections, some of which are open access.

Full Text Articles

  • We've got thousands of full text articles that you can access from anywhere.
  • Click the "articles" tab on the library's homepage, and you'll see a "Full Text Only" check box.
  • Or search a subject-specific article database. Look for a PDF icon or a "Find it" icon to check if we have the article in full text.
  • Authenticate with your SDSUid and password.

Dissertations and Theses

  • Many U.S. dissertations are available as PDFs in Proquest Dissertations & Theses Global.
  • Many SDSU theses are available as PDFs in OneSearch. To find a thesis on a particular topic or written within a particular department, choose Subject in the pull-down menu and search "SDSU theses" followed by (topic or department.)  For example: SDSU theses (anthropology).
  • Authenticate with your SDSUid and password.
