For SDSU Faculty & Staff

Use of the library’s meeting rooms is limited to SDSU faculty and staff members who need a space for a single meeting. Room requests are granted in the order they are received with the Library receiving first priority and campus requests receiving second priority. In addition, users must agree to enforce the Library’s Room policies. Failure to do so may result in the denial of future requests. See the room descriptions below for additional details.

The library does not approve requests for regularly scheduled academic classes or for student organization meetings or events. Requests for weekly or monthly meetings from University departments and organizations will be considered on an individual basis. The library reserves the right to deny any room requests.

Lectures & Lecture series

All single lectures and lecture series must be open to the public and co-sponsored by a Librarian. All requests for single lectures or lecture series must be submitted to the Librarian (view a list of Subject Specialist liaisons here) supporting the requestor’s area of expertise.

For more information on the facilities you can read the room descriptions.

Request Room Reservation

For SDSU Students

The library has a limited number of group study rooms for students to reserve. Students, or student organizations, need to contact Student Life and Leadership for all other room requests.

Group Study Rooms

Non-SDSU Parties

Non-SDSU parties must contact Conference Services to arrange room rentals.

As appropriate, local schools and other educational organizations should contact Outreach Librarian, Gloria Rhodes, for consideration.

The Library administrative office has the right to make exceptions to portions of the policy.
