Twine Workshop
Mar 10 2020 - 12:30pm to 1:45pm

Have you ever wondered how to build a “choose your own adventure” game? Do you like telling stories that offer variable endings and choices with consequence? Do you have little-to-no (or lots!) of experience coding? Then come join our two-part Twine Workshop: March 10 and March 12 from 12:30-1:45pm in the Digital Humanities Center - LA 61 (Bottom of the Dome)

Tuesday, March 10: Intro to Twine - taught by DH Programs Assistant Jared Zeiders

Thursday, March 12: Building Stories in Twine - taught by former DH Center Instructional Support Assistant Tina Lumbis

Twine is an interactive storytelling medium that allows everyone to become a game-designer in just a few hours time. Our workshop, a continuation of those offered in the Fall of 2018, offers skills for new and experienced users alike, with a refresher course on the basics before getting into some of the more complicated commands.

Be sure not to miss this excellent opportunity to create your own Electronic Literature!

This event is part of the DH Tools and Creative Workshop Tracks in the Digital Humanities Center. These workshops are dedicated to artistic creation and learning digital tools. For other tracks and events, visit our Events and Activities page.
