Home >> Events >> Public, Oral, and Digital (P.O.D.) History Series Kick-Off Panel
Feb 16 2018 - 12:30pm to 4:00pm

This will be the kick-off event for a series dedicated to exposing the student body to public, oral, and digital history methods partnered with the USC Shoah Foundation and SDSU faculty. This panel will be followed by a space-available workshop on the use of digital oral history archives for research and for use in the classroom, hosted by Phi Alpha Theta and conducted by the USC Shoah Foundation. The target audience are graduate and undergraduate students interested in the methods and tools provided in this panel and workshop, particularly history and education majors, though it is open to all students on a first come, first serve basis. Thematically there will be some overlap with Holocaust and genocide topics which coincide with course found on the SDSU Spring 2018 course catalogue.
