This lecture is hosted by the Transborder Student Ally Program (TSAP) at San Diego State University (SDSU). The mission of TSAP is to create a visible network of culturally competent allies in higher education institutions, high schools and communities in the San Diego-Tijuana border region by educating faculty, staff, teachers, students and community leaders about the Transfronterizx student population.  In this session, Joaquín Vasquez, will address the need to implement initiatives in congress to create equitable and inclusive postsecondary and higher education institutions for Transfronterizx college students along the U.S.-Mexico borderlands. In this session, guest will be invited to register as Transborder Student Allies. Additionally, this session will be recorded via zoom, to make this content available online.
